Project Description
The Guardia de Honor Overpass represents a road solution to reduce traffic in zone 10 of Guatemala City.
Solution
For the construction of the road exchanger, pile walls of 500mm and 750mm were executed with a depth of up to 16.00 meters. The structure consists of three bridges made up of: head beam, cross beams and slab. At the entrance and exit of the project, it was protected by Soil Nailing and, in addition, to control the rainwater, a system of drains connected by manholes was made..
