Project Description
Excavation project for the real estate market that will be a corporate center located in Guatemala City, this project had a great technical challenge due to the existing adjoining conditions such as: an apartment building and housing structures of up to two levels.
Solution
Due the conditions of the terrain, the use of pile walls and metal struts of up to 15 m in length was chosen, thus reducing the amount of berm that would be left in the project, maximizing the space on site and minimizing subsequent work. Likewise, slope stabilization was also carried out with soil nailing and shotcrete on the boundaries of public roads.
