Project Description
The overpass is an important improvement in the flow of vehicular traffic near the new Spazio Mall. It consists of three main axes: Axis 1 – Main street from zone 15 towards Ciudad Cayalá; Axis 2 – Access lane to Spazio Mall; Axis 3 – Elevated lane with slab and controlled fill from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala to zone 15.
Solution
The Project consisted of the construction of a road interchange that allows the free flow of traffic on the main boulevard. The main objective was to carry out the project without distrubing the traffic. The use of precast slabs for the main bridge was key for the construction methodology to be carried out efficiently.
